I love Girls Camp. Despite all my complaining this year about going I really do love it and I have an awesome time when I'm there! This year was amazing. Probably the best by far. The first day we got there we just got set up and introduced to our theme:
Boot Camp
And they were serious. Hah. Sister Taylor gave this hilarious talk about unity and she was dressed as a Sergeant. She was so funny. She acted the part so well!
Then we played a unity game. We had to get every member of the camp over this string and only 3 people could go under it. Of course I got to be one of those lucky 3 but that also meant I had to help lift everyone over! We got to skeet shoot which I actually love!
The second day was fun too. We went to the lake and canooed! (Not quite sure if that is a word!) That was fun except there were lots of little disgusting frogs everywhere. And I hate frogs with a passion. Teshe threw one on me and it was sick, sick, sick. Ew.
The third day was a bit eventful. Our camp leader had a miscarriage at camp and she was losing a ton of blood. She was passing out. So an ambulance had to come and get her. She is doing better now. We went snipe hunting that night.
The last day was my favorite because of testimony meeting. It was really spiritual. Pretty much just what I needed to hear and feel. I loved girls camp but I was so excited to be clean! And away from the abundance of frogs that was camp.
