Mt. Timpan-bogus!!!
So Micki got back from Arizona on Monday (yay) and we had to go to Salt Lake to pick her up. And so we decided to celebrate my grampa's birthday early. Of course, he picked to go hiking (ugh). But not regular hiking, he wanted to go to Timpanogos Caves. So I'm thinkin ok, a little hike to go see some caves, that'll be fine. So we start hiking and it is all uphill for 1.5 miles, it took me and Tiff 2 hours to get up the freakin' mountain! And then when we got there to see the caves, they weren't pretty or anything! No crystals or stuff. All the formations looked like ear wax and folds of skin. Basically you could have had the same experience if you went to Costco in their refrigerator room and looked inside people's ears with a magnifying glass! This is the "heart" of Mt. Timpanogos. (yuck)

What a let down! I have thought about going to see those caves but now I don't think I'll be going to hike up a mountain to see that! Funny post anyway and good to hear you are out experiencing the fun times of summer!
hey! oh, your descriptions are soooo entertaining! glad to hear from you... but i'm leaving town for a week so i wont see you much!
see yah!
You always make me laugh! I love your commentary!
Amanda, you are crazy! Yeah, I've been to Timpanogos before, and there's not very many things that stand out about it. Being in a cave was kinda neat and weird, but the coolest part was when our guide turned off all of the lights so it was totally pitch black, then took someone's wedding ring and used one of those laser pen things and shined it on the diamond so that it refracted the light everywhere, it was freakin' awesome, but you could do that in a closet with a diamond ring and a laser pen.
Hey homeslice- give me your email and I will invite you in- smae with jills and shellies- Love ya
